[The Queen's Clothes] Interning Girl

Woolrich Suede and Rabbit Fur Trapper hat, Halston Heritage D-Ring belt, Faith Connexion Peplum Collared Wool jacket, James Perse Long Sleeve Crew Neck tee, MSGM Floral Brocade skirt, Falke Pure Matt 100 Denir tights, Givenchy Nightingale, and Givenchy Sheath boots

Copious amounts of black -- I know. I'm working on injecting more color into my wardrobe, especially during the colder months. In the meantime, above is a typical look for my internship at a fashion startup. Although I'm not required to "dress up" each day for the office, I enjoy putting myself together when possible.

I'm fairly obsessed with that MSGM Floral Brocade skirt. I can't recall how I came upon it on farfetch.com, but since that discovery, I've managed to acquire two more MSGM skirts. The more the merrier, right? The skirt is just such a statement; from flats to pumps, it just works with all of my looks. And I couldn't have found a better day-to-night piece. That's been the best part -- when I have to meet with clients, I never have to worry about what I'm wearing with that skirt on. I look forward to MSGM's S/S 2014 offering as one can never have too many full skirts!
