Last November, I spent a week and a half in the Maldives with a few of my girlfriends. We were guests at Jumeirah Dhevanafushi, located at the south end of the Maldives, in the heart of the Indian Ocean. The property, which consisted of two "islands", was the epitome of seclusion. Dhevanafushi wasn't your typical beachfront resort with annoying tourists scurrying around from massive cruise liners or locals trying to barter while you tanned. Dhevanafushi was absolute paradise. The above unedited images represent the various vistas, from our dinning views to our backyard; everywhere you looked, crystalline waters flowed. I've seen images of other resorts, from the contemporary to the rural, however, Dhevanafushi was an exotic beauty unlike any other. Stay tuned for upcoming posts on the interiors and fine dining!
